Ohio Valley Flight Service
has teamed up with Mountain State University to give you the opportunity
to obtain a college degree while learning to fly at Ohio valley Flight
Service
While you complete your
flight training with Ohio Valley Flight Service you can also earn
credits towards a university degree-at no additional charge! An
agreement between Ohio Valley Flight Service and Mountain State
University assigns up to 45 hours of academic credits for the FAA
certificates and ratings you will obtain from completing training with
Ohio Valley Flight Service. That's like receiving a scholarship for up
to $12,600!
Over 90% of major airline
pilots have college degrees, so if your considering a career in Aviation
a college degree will greatly expand your options for employment and
advancements.
Don't want to get your
degree now? no problem, you can obtain credits for your completed
courses any time, now or ten years later.
How it
Works
When you complete a course
at Ohio Valley Flight Service the course materials are sent to Mountain
State University and you receive college credits for the completed
courses.
Eligible Degree Programs
You can apply credits
earned through Ohio Valley Flight service to the following career
oriented degrees: Associate of Science in Aviation, which provides a
general academic foundation for aviation professionals; Bachelor of
science in Aviation which offers preparation for advancement in aviation
management and flight operations.
